First Shawl

This shawl was knit by Catt Groen. It will be sent to her cousin Aliz in Belgium. Aliz has cancer and is currently undergoing Chemotherapy.

About Prayer Hug Shawl Ministry

Prayer Hug Shawl Ministry came about in kind of a long drawn out way.
I started making a shawl for myself on the anniversary of my dad's passing...it was to be finished on the anniversary of my step-dad's passing, just 3 months later. That was not to happen, but I did finish it. I thought about my dad and Mick all the time while knitting it and now that it's done, it's very special to me.
I joined a prayer shawl group on a knitting website, and that is when God really started to lead me.
I want to use my talent and love of knitting to spread warmth and love to others, so Prayer Hug Shawl Ministry was born...
